This is a preliminary screen shot of the entry screen for NOMISMA.  The icon in the upper left corner is still from MONETA - the final NOMISMA icon has not yet been selected.  The graphical "template" (more than 250 are included) in this case requires no user additions, but many of the others have areas to enter regnal years, mintmarks, etc. directly on the image.  A very simple yet powerful way to document the often difficult to see Byzantine coppers especially.   The inscription fields are from the drop-down lists, composed with the new NOMISMA font, approximately 250 very special characters.  Note that the inch and grain entry fields are there because I opted to enter the data in inches and grains (I use a powder scale), and may or may not appear on your screen, depending upon your preferences as set on the NOMISMA preferences screen (not shown).  This shot is from a low resolution 640x480 screen, and the NOMISMA font appears much better on high resolution screens and prints just fine.
