Numus, the no-nonsense company, respects your
privacy and observes the following policies:
1) No "Cookies". We write nothing to your machine. Period.
2) Numus is 100% Java-free. We download no programs
to your machine, Java or otherwise, without you
expressly requesting a download. Period.
3) We don't share any sort of customer data of any kind. Period.
4) If you order by on-line credit card, Numus does not
even see
your full credit card number. That is all handled by
a third-party
firm, one of the largest in the US for your security, Cardservice
International. They notify us of the sale and give us
the name
and address of the purchaser (also the phone and e-mail if
was
given at the time of purchase) and shipping information.
Period.
5) If you send us your credit card information, nothing
is kept on
file regarding the credit card once the transaction is approved.
For
another sale you'll have to resend the card information.
Period.
6) Numus does not track visits to this website, other than
to simply
count the number of visitors. We do not know what operating
system you run, how many colors your monitor has, what browser
you're using, etc. That information can be, and often
is, gathered
by many sites, but we believe that is none of our business.
Period.
7) Numus will notify customers of a new major revision,
or in the
event a major functionality failure in the software is found.
These
notices, presently estimated at no more than two/year, will
not be
sent if you request no e-mail from us unless you initiate
it. Period.
8) Customer email addresses are not kept in a standard
"address book" which
may be exploited by the next generation of virus. Numus
doesn't risk
"cat & mouse" games with hackers when your information
is at stake. Period.
